Workshop is a part of planed activities for knowledge transfer at national and international level and also one of the main dissemination activities through which research potentials of the project participants shall be presented to a wider circle of researchers and other participants in region. Main objectives and activities of FEED-TO-FOOD project will be presented. The new equipment purchased by EU funding through this FP7 REGPOT-3 project will be showed and future challenges for Research & Development in feed to food research area will be discussed.

The registration fee is 50 €. Registration fee includes workshop proceedings, buffet lunches and refreshments during the breaks.
Workshop dinner fee (25 €) is to be paid separately. Dinner will be held on 30th September, 2009 evening.

13TH  INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM ON FEED TECHNOLOGY

“FEED TECHNOLOGY, QUALITY AND  SAFETY”

It is also our pleasure to inform you about the 13th  International Symposium on Feed Technology “FEED TECHNOLOGY, QUALITY AND  SAFETY” which will be organized  by Institute for Food Technology (FINS) – Research Center  “FEED TO FOOD” immediately after the Workshop on 30th September and  1st October 2009 in Novi Sad, Serbia at the same place.
The successes of past symposiums let us hope that numerous international and domestic scientists at the new meeting will continue to present many aspects of feed science and technology. The program of the symposium is aimed towards advances in feed technology, quality and safety. The reports will be organized by invitation and it will be presented at the plenary sessions. The other reports will be exposed in the form of posters. Scientific Committee invites interested participants to submit a one page abstract or full papers until 20th August 2009. for a poster presentations on one of the topics:

  • Feed production – Technology and equipment
  • Feed raw materials and additives
  • Legislative framework
  • Feed and animal wellbeing
  • Impact of feed on food safety
  • Quality assurance
  • Feed analyses

Each paper should be subjected to two scientific reviewers and  approved by the Scientific Committee. All accepted papers (for oral and poster presentations) will be published in the Proceeding.

Area in FINS is reserved for the leading firms of Feed to food production chain to give them opportunity of exhibiting and/or demonstrating their products. Companies, which plan to use exhibition place or some other kind of advertizing activities should apply to organizers for detailed information by e-mail feedtofood@fins.uns.ac.rs.
